Arthur E. Chadwick, the visionary founder of Chadwick & Son Orchids Inc., has been revolutionizing the orchid industry since 1989. Together with his father, A.A. Chadwick, who has been cultivating these exquisite flowers since 1943, Arthur has built an orchid empire. Their eleven greenhouses in Powhatan County, Virginia, and two retail stores in Richmond have become a haven for orchid enthusiasts. Chadwick & Son Orchids Inc. has captured the spotlight in prestigious publications such as Southern Living magazine, The New York Times, O Magazine, CBS Sunday Morning, and the Washington Post.
Arthur Chadwick's passion for orchids extends beyond cultivation. He co-authored the definitive book on large-flowered Cattleya species, The Classic Cattleyas, with his father. This masterpiece has received rave reviews, including high praise from Martha Stewart herself. Arthur and his father even graced Martha Stewart's television show to share their expertise.
