This is a virus free clone. G. Neuser had this variety was awarded an FCC by the AOS in 1949 in New York City, it was awarded an FCC/AOS (91 points) again recently in 2014 at a show in Columbia. That plant went on to receive the Masatoshi Miyamoto award in 2014 for best of the year. This variety is prized for its large overlapping petals. Typo color.
