Lc. DeLoris Ziegfeld 'Caruther’s' AM/AOS
(Princess Margaret x C. R. Cadwalader)

Lc. DeLoris Ziegfeld 'Caruther’s' is one of the great classic standard Cattleyas from the golden age of orchid breeding. Awarded 80 points by the American Orchid Society in 1951, this outstanding hybrid is admired for its very large flowers and the beautiful eyes that accent the lip.

Registered during the golden age of Cattleya breeding, Lc. DeLoris Ziegfeld is one of those classic standards that reminds us why these older hybrids are still admired today. With very large flowers, beautiful eyes in the lip, and an AOS award dating back to 1951, it’s easy to see why this hybrid has stood the test of time. The flower shown is of a similar variety.
