Beth Davis isn’t just an orchid grower—she’s a lifelong cultivator of curiosity, color, and community. As a fourth-generation horticulturist at Waldor Orchids in Linwood, NJ, Beth brings nearly three decades of hands-on greenhouse experience to every event, class, and speaking engagement she leads.

Throughout the year, Beth travels to botanical centers, garden clubs, and orchid societies across the East Coast, sharing her passion for lesser-known orchid genera like Bulbophyllum, Maxillaria, Coelogyne, and Dendrochilum—collectively known among fans as "Beth Plants." Whether she’s teaching at a public garden, inspiring hobbyists at an orchid society, or representing Waldor Orchids at a major orchid show, Beth’s energy and expertise make her an unforgettable presence.

Her background extends far beyond the greenhouse. Beth has chaired the Ocean City Flower Show, partnered with the International Amphibian Days Organization, and volunteered extensively in environmental advocacy through Sustainable Monroe’s Green Team and her town’s Environmental Commission. As an American Orchid Society judge, she brings a respected voice to orchid exhibitions nationwide—and as a floral designer, she finds beauty in every petal, whether in a wedding bouquet or a rare specimen plant.

This season, Beth is on the road again, appearing at a variety of orchid-centric events. From hands-on orchid classes to keynote presentations, her upcoming engagements promise inspiration for beginners and seasoned growers alike. You’ll not only learn about orchids—you’ll learn how to see them differently.
