Graded Charcoal

  From hardwood trees. Charcoal is most often used as a medium additive to enhance root system development. Also used as a top dressing to act as filter to purify air and water passing through it.    

  Charcoal is added to orchid mix with the intention of keeping the mix sweet and to filter impurities. The particle size of this small charcoal is perfect for the majority of orchid mixes and a little goes a long way.

• #2 Coarse Grade  aprox 3/4 inch size
• #3 Medium Grade aprox 1/2 inch size
• #4 Fine Grade  aprox 1/4 inch size
